Frequently Asked Questions

How do reservations work?

Deer, Turkey, and Pig hunters may make a reservation for an activity in a particular area starting at 1200 (noon) to 2059 the day prior. On the day the area is reserved, hunters have from 0400 until 1159 hours to check-in to their reservation. If a hunter has not checked in by 1159 hours the reservation will expire, allowing the slot to become available to other permittees. Once checked in the hunter must remain checked in until they are done recreating and then must check out to avoid penalties.

When do I need to wear blaze orange?
